AOS - which route to take?
by Lalah 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I have a permanent immigration number, which I obtained through my sister. She applied for me in 2001 and I received the approval notice in 2008, but I have to wait until 2012 for a visa number to become available.

Meantime, I got married to a US citizen this year and we have applied for AOS through marriage.

It has just dawned on me that maybe I should have just advised the NVC that I was now married. Would that have made a difference to my waiting time? I think I would rather it had gone through on my original application and since I already have a permanent immigration number, that would have made more sense.

Confused .. can anyone advise please?

Danish Green Card

Hello Guys

I want to share a very helpful _link_ for immigration to Europ.

http://www.onabroad.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=42&Itemid=34

It has detailed information about different
European immigrations like

Danish green card scheem
Spanish residency for illegal immigrants
Norwegian visa for highly skilled people
European Bule card
Holland highly educated migration

I recommend this website because I took information and applied for Danish Green card and my
case was processed with a month and now I am sitting in Copenhagen.

I know one of my friend applied for Holland highly educated migration and his case is almost
decided and he have applied to collect his residence card.

Try this website
and Good Luck.

John

Your original approved I-130 application is considered a family 4th preference and requires an extensive wait period. Now that you have married a US citizen he needs to file the appropriate paper work (I-130, I-485 and I-765). The process for the Spouse (or minor children and parents) of a US Citizen requires no waiting period just processing time. This process should take you 9 month to a year to adjust. My only question is... are you residing in the US? if so, did you make a legal entry? are you still in status?
