QUERY


1. My son has just become a US citizen through naturalization He now wishes to sponsor his parents ( Me and his Mother) for Permanent Residence.


2. We both hold ten year (BUSINESS) visa for USA.




3. Should my son sponsor our application when he is in USA and we are in India.In such a case can we travel to US during the time our Green Card application is under process?.

OR- IF

4. We plan to travel to USA (in Sept.2008) and when we are there he should file for our application for Permanent Residence in Sept?.


5. We hope to be in USA for entire month of Sept 2008 and then will like to come back to India.


6. Will our Green Card application be approved in Sept 2008 itself(in case our son files our application when we are in US) when we are there or will it take more time?


7. If we are to travel back to India in Oct 2008 is any permission required and if what permissions are required?


8. If there is delay in our application of say three /four months can we again travel to USA or will the Immigration authorities at US port not allow us entry ? F urther how much time does such processing take
