Larissa (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 1 Karma: 0   Refugee question by Larissa 6 Months, 1 Week ago Hi, Please help me with this information: If my mom files for a refugee status while being in the USA (she is being harassed and physically beat up in her home country because I immigrated to the USA), would she be able to go back to her home country at least to try to sell her little apartment? It is worth very little, but it will help her get some money to live on. Would she be eligible for any benefits as a refugee? Medical or financial?
